Senior Account Executive
Job Summary
The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving new revenue growth by selling TalentGuard’s talent management software platform and related services to medium and enterprise-level organizations across industries. This is a high-impact, strategic sales position responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and initial engagement through to negotiation and close—while consistently positioning TalentGuard as a trusted partner in talent management innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently exceed quarterly quota goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders within prospective accounts to build strong, multi-level relationships.
- Leverage a consultative sales approach by conducting deep discovery to uncover client needs, challenges, and goals before presenting tailored solutions that drive business impact.
- Cultivate advanced knowledge of the HR technology industry and maintain ongoing awareness of market shifts, with a focus on trends that influence industry growth and competition.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and maintain rigorous CRM hygiene by consistently updating pipeline data, tracking opportunities, and leveraging insights to drive predictable revenue outcomes.
- Prepare compelling, professional proposal decks tailored to customer needs, and manage the subsequent contract review and execution process to ensure timely and successful deal closure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business.
- 5+ years in solution-selling experience in SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding quota (top 10% seller, award winner)
- Strong communicator with excellent oral and written skills, coupled with technical proficiency in leveraging sales technology tools; demonstrates the ability to quickly learn, master, and effectively demo complex software platforms to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who manages time effectively, provides clear visibility to internal stakeholders, and embraces the ideas and perspectives of others.
- Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment by being resourceful, adaptable, and scrappy—finding creative solutions, wearing multiple hats, and driving results with limited resources.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
