Skill-Based Interview Questions for Comprehensive Candidate Assessment

Our job architecture includes recommended interview questions designed to evaluate a candidate’s proficiency in various skills. These questions are utilized by managers and technical interviewers during the hiring process. We link each competency to specific interview questions, with our model accommodating up to five questions for each skill, aiding in a thorough assessment of the candidate’s abilities.

Types:Interview Question Type Descriptions:
ResultsQuestions designed to gain information on deliverables produced by the interviewee in his/her previous position(s).

  • Example: “Tell me about a specific result you were asked to produce at your previous job and how you accomplished it.”
SolutionQuestions that ask the interviewee to elaborate on successful resolutions to problems encountered in his/her previous position(s).

  • Example: “Tell me about a specific problem you encountered and how you solved it.”
ProblemQuestions designed to collect details on issues or setbacks encountered by the interviewee and how they were resolved in his/her previous position(s).

  • Example: “Tell me about a specific setback you had to deal with in your last job and what the outcome was.”
FitQuestions designed to assess how the interviewee would contribute to and be impacted by the organizational culture.

  • Example: “Based on what you know about this organization and the responsibilities of this position, tell me how you would add value and contribute to the success of this organization.”
